"Nandanvan Bird Sanctuary 4" Bulbuls, Robins, Sunbird and a shadow of Fantail Fly-catcher

"The loud and evocative call is a sharp kink-a-joo (also transcribed as pettigrew or kick-pettigrew or pleased to meet you[3]) and the song is a scolding chatter. It is more often heard than seen, but will often perch conspicuously especially in the mornings when they call from the tops of trees." reference:Wikipedia ....... Almost every morning, and late evening these beautiful birds are in full swing and for about 30 minutes, they go non-stop calling each other. Some not so good pictures, which I managed to get after considerable efforts, are posted here. The Fantail fly-catcher is difficult to catch... but I was lucky to get some snaps- though silhouettes only
A Pretty Bulbul
looks gloomy
awaiting partner
who arrives at last
The Robin
is alone
and not so lucky
as there is no partner to be seen
Buds of red silk cotton tree
also known as Sayari in Marathi. They grow very fast
12 hrs later!
and here is a Sun Bird
                                                              Parrots on a feast
Plum Headed Parrot
Golden Oriole
And a Black Drongo....they all live here
