Gorai- the Fishing Village of Mumbai

Gorai, just across the creek from Borivli, Mumbai was once a quiet fishing village. Mostly inhabited by East-Indians. Today it is known more for the Essel World Joy Rides, and of late because of the Global Vipassana Centre and its Pagoda which is world's largest stone dome built without any supporting pillars. The beach, unfortunately, is full of rubbish........we need a clean Gorai Beach campain!
quickest way to cross over...take a Ferry
bridge planned...and shelved
Pagoda in the Morning sun
